This 20 gauge J.C. Higgins Model 583-15 bolt action repeating shotgun has a 26" full choke barrel that is chambered for 2 3/4" shells.  The gun appears to be in good working order.  Most of the blue finish is intact, but there are areas of surface rust showing on the receiver and barrel.  The stock is solid and clean, with only minor scratches and dings.  The gun comes with a J.C. Higgins rubber recoil pad.  A nice, utility piece.  No serial number.  FFL required.
