This Ithaca side by side double barrel 410 gauge shotgun with 26” barrels is serial number A 446790.  This number is stamped on the receiver flat, barrel flat, forend metal and forend wood.  The barrels are marked Smokeless Powder Steel. The action is nice and tight and everything seems to work, including the cocking indicators.  The metal has been re-blued.  The wood was varnished and a recoil pad added (LOP is 14 ¾”).  The barrels are shiny with streaks of what looks like leading.  All in all, a nice old double in a very desirable gauge.  Stamped on the reciever Ithaca Gun Co., Ithaca, N.Y.. Length of pull 14 3/4 inches from front trigger to tip of pad. Drop at heel is 2 3/4 inches. Drop comb is 1 3.4 inches. Chamber length is 2 3/4 inches. FFL required.
